MLB The Show 23 has been touted as one of the best games on the market

MLB The Show 23 was released on March 28. It is the latest edition of the "The Show" franchise, developed by San Diego Studios, a subsidiary of PlayStation studios.

Although the game has only been on the shelves for a few days, fans are hailing the game as one of the best developments in the franchise. PlayStation studios has been releasing the game since 2006.

One of the gameplay modes that fans have come to love is Franchise Mode. This mode allows MLB The Show players to manage and build their own team, and play with it as they compete for World Series glory.

In addition to adding a new cacaphony of stadium sounds to add an extra element of realism, MLB The Show 23 contains a number of new changes to how Franchise Mode users can scout and draft talent to better their teams.

Whereas previous versions of the game have divided prospects into "high school" or "college", the 2023 edition will enable users to see what age the prospect is, and at exactly what educational stage they find themselves in. This is especially pertinent as 21-year old first-rounder makes his debut for the New York Yankees this week.

Moreover, MLB 23 contains a new approach to how Franchise Mode users can manage their scouts. While previous versions of the game, users had four scouts, they will now have to rely on four. Users will also have the option to assign scouts to high, middle, or low priority spots depending on the team's needs.

The game has come a long way since David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox graced the cover of the first edition of the game in 2006. Now, fans get to see Jazz Chisholm Jr. of the Miami Marlins on the cover as they learn all about this exciting new game.

MLB The Show 23 did not come a moment too soon

With the 2023 MLB season set to take full shape very soon, fans will be able to simulate the action with all their favorite stars through the game. Leave a comment below if there has been any part of the gameplay that has held a particular appeal to you.
