The Dominican Republic's WBC jersey for the upcoming tournament has been revealed. The Dominican Republic will wear new jerseys for the 2023 World Baseball Classic, where they have a very strong chance of winning it all.
The new jerseys just recently went on sale on Fanatics.com and are already completely out of stock. They are clearly very popular. Here's what they look like.
This year's Dominican Republic jersey sports a blue and red color scheme. The colors blend and fade into each other for an excellent look. The front features the "República Dominicana" name in white font with red borders and the back will presumably feature numbers.
The sleeves are short, with red and white stripes at the end. There will also probably be a white variant of this jersey for the home/away colors that each team has. The flag is on one arm.
The Dominican Republic's WBC jersey in 2017 was different. It was much more blocked off. It was gray with red sleeves that switched colors at the shoulder.
The name "Dominicana" ran across the chest in bold, blue colors and the flag was on one sleeve. The gray version simply swapped out the white for gray. Everything else was mostly the same.
