Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, United States, Markus Lynn Betts has become a three-time Major League Baseball (MLB) champion. He is also known as Mookie Betts and he started his MLB journey with the Boston Red Sox on June 29, 2014. He was a part of the team for six years from 2014 to 2019 and won his first MLB World Series title with the team in 2018.
Mookie Betts became a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2020 and won his second MLB World Series title in his first year with the team itself. He also went on to win his third MLB World Series title, his second one with his present team in 2024. Besides winning the MLB championship, Betts is also notable for being an eight-time MLB All-Star player. His personal life includes his father Willie Betts, mother Diana Collins, wife Brianna Betts and two daughters named Kynlee Ivory Betts and Kaj Lynn Betts.
