Shohei Ohtani pinned down his ambitious goals long before he became the recipient of a 10-year, $700 contract, a World Series title and a two-time MVP when he was a high school teenager.

He's 30 now and has checked off many of his goals, which he had written down as journalist Trung Phan shared on social media.

As per his goals, Shohei Ohtani had planned to get married and win his first World Series at the age of 26. He realized both four years later than planned, winning his first World Series title - beating the New York Yankees 4-1 - and getting married to former basketball player Mamiko Tanaka at 30.

Shohei Ohtani joined the MLB's Los Angeles Angels in 2018 and made his debut the same year, winning the AL Rookie of the Year.
