"Aaron Judge gives me inspiration" - Shohei Ohtani honors Yankees captain's 2024 Players Choice Awards Player of the Year selection

Aaron Judge is arguably the biggest player in the MLB, both physically and from a popularity standpoint. The New York Yankees captain has been among the most dangerous players at the plate over the past few seasons, and unfortunately for opposing pitchers, he seemingly only gets better with age.

After yet another tremendous season, which may lead to the second MVP Award of his career, Aaron Judge has been named the 2024 Players Choice Awards Player of the Year.

After the announcement was made, a number of superstars from across the MLB spoke up about the impact that Aaron Judge has on the game, as well as his abilities at the plate.

In a video released by the MLBPA on Instagram, several superstars paid their respects to the AL MVP favorite. Shohei Ohtani, Chris Sale, Tarik Skubal, Colton Cowser and Tyler O'Neill were some of the players who spoke about the superstar.

"A great person to have as an ambassador of the game. Not a lot of people could handle that pressure, I respect how he goes about his business in all facets of this game," Chris Sale said of Judge.

Judge has quickly become one of the faces of the MLB alongside Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani. The pair have continually been mentioned in conversations about which player is the best in the league.

Despite their competitive nature, the two have a tremendous respect for one another, something that Ohtani spoke about in the video.

"Every year he has a great historical season. He gives me inspiration and I enjoy watching him play. I'm thankful that he is bringing excitment to the league. I'm very thankful that I can watch him play," Shohei Ohtani said of the Yankees superstar.

Aaron Judge and New York Yankees will need to bounce back in a major way in Game 3 of the World Series

The New York Yankees will need their superstar captain to help guide them to a victory in a crucial Game 3 on Monday. The Yankees find themselves in a difficult 0-2 hole after dropping the first two games against the Los Angeles Dodgers and simply cannot afford to fall to 0-3 on Monday night.

It's been a rather disappointing postseason for Aaron Judge, who has been unable to perform anywhere near his regular season level. That being said, time and time again, the superstar outfielder has proven that he can change the game with a single swing of the bat.

Look for the Yankees to bring the heat on Monday night as the fate of their season could be on the line.
