Coming into Tuesday's NLDS Game 3, Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Mookie Betts struggled big time with him going 0-6 against the San Diego Padres. This compounds over his last 10 games where he has gone 5-30.

Betts, a former MVP, is an important at-bat hitting behind Shohei Ohtani. While many think Betts' swing mechanic is what has been affecting the outcome, five-time World Series champion Derek Jeter doesn't think so.

"Absolutely nothing wrong with Mookie Betts mechanics and at this particular point of the season," Jeter said.

Mr. November further went on to add that even if there is something wrong with his mechanics, postseason is not the time to make any adjustments and experiment. Jeter also highlighted the fact that if Jurickson Profar hadn't robbed Betts of a potential home run, no one would be discussing this.

"Yeah, maybe you're a little bit too late," Jeter added. "You find your pitch to hit, but you're not breaking down mechanics and starting all over. There's nothing wrong with Mookie Betts' swing—if Profar didn't catch that ball he hit the other night, we wouldn't even be sitting here talking about it.
"And I get it. We talked about it before—the gift and the curse of the postseason, right? It's one day at a time. If Mookie comes out and has a good game today, people couldn't care less about what happened in the previous postseasons."

Mookie Betts silenced critics with a solo home run in Game 3

The NLDS Game 3 has got everyone in the mood. And while there were doubts on Mookie Betts still being one of the best to do it, he just needed a few pitches in Game 3 to get the ball to the stands and give the Dodgers an early 1-0 lead.

In the first inning against Padres ace Michael King, Betts went the distance, again in the left field only this time, Profar wasn't able to intercept it.

The Padres didn't take too long to come back. Hits coupled with a fielding blunder from the Dodgers ensured six runs were scored against them in the second inning.
