On Friday, Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Alec Marsh took to Instagram to look back on his wedding. The 26-year-old posted a series of snaps showing off his classy all-white wedding day look.

"A huge thank you to @stateandliberty for making me look and feel my best on my wedding day." Marsh captioned his Instagram post.

Reacting to the post, Makenna Marsh made her feelings known, leaving a comment of appreciation.

"My husband 🔥" Makenna Marsh commented.

Having announced their engagement in November of 2023, Alec and Makenna finally tied the knot a year later, in a wedding ceremony that took place in Fallbrook, California, on December 7.

Plenty of Marsh's teammates, such as Bobby Witt Jr., MJ Melendez and Vinnie Pasquantino, were also present to celebrate the couple's big day.

On December 14, Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. got married to his longtime girlfriend, Maggie Black. In attendance to celebrate their big day were Alec Marsh and his wife, Makenna.

"Had the best time celebrating the Witts! #Letsgetwitty" Alec Marsh captioned his Instagram post.

On the field, Alec Marsh had a decent campaign, finishing the regular season with a 9-9 record, along with a 4.53 ERA and 123 total strikeouts. Though the Cleveland Guardians ended up running away with the AL Central division title, the Royals still managed to finish in second place, securing qualification to the postseason in the process.

In their first playoff series, they played the Baltimore Orioles, who had similarly finished second in the AL East. Ultimately, the Royals went on to edge consecutive low-scoring games, making it to the ALDS. Unfortunately for Royals fans, that was as far as they would go, as eventual World Series runners up, the New York Yankees, eliminated them to progress to the ALCS.

Though Marsh did not get an opportunity to take to the mound himself in October, being part of the postseason run with his team would no doubt have been a valuable learning experience, with the best years of his career still to come.
