Alex Bregman was selected by the Houston Astros in the 2015 MLB Draft and mads his major league debut with them in 2016. Since then, he has been a regular in the Houston lineup, playing a central role in their World Series title wins in both 2018 and 2022.

Reagan Bregman was born in Louisiana in 1994 and eventually moved with her family to Katy, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in marketing. After her graduation, she worked for Google and Oracle in Austin.

Astros manager Joe Espada gives update on Alex Bregman after hit-by-pitch to head

Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman was hit on the head by a wild pitch during Wednesday's 10-0 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies. While he was lucky to avoid any serious injury, he was knocked to the ground by the impact but eventually managed to get up and complete the inning. Speaking about the incident after the game, manager Joe Espada said:

"Ya know.. Breggy.. He's got a sore elbow.. Gotta take care of him.. He wants to be out there-it's NOT easy taking Breggy out of a game.. But I gotta take care of him."

With Bregman already nursing an elbow issue, the Houston management may be tempted to rest him for a couple a games as we near the tail end of the MLB regular season. The Astros next face the Kansas City Royals in a four-game series over the weekend.
