Alex Rodriguez's daughter Natasha looks forward to 'work wife' status with friend in sweet birthday shoutout

Alex Rodriguez's eldest daughter, Natasha Alexander Rodriguez, is pursuing a degree in arts and music from the University of Michigan. She developed a knack for singing, dancing, and performing skits from an early age.

She graduated from high school in May 2023 and moved to the University of Michigan in August. As per Alex Rodriguez, she has taken a keen interest in the university's musical theatre group and is performing in various plays.

Natasha has made friends at the UM Musical Theatre, one of whom is Lleyton Allen. She wished him on his birthday on Monday with an endearing social media post. The caption read as follows:

"Looking forward to being your work wife, exciting times. Happy birthday @lleyton_allen RAAAA."

Tashi, as she is very lovingly called by her father A-Rod, has sung the national anthem on four separate occasions during NBA, WNBA, and MLB games. She first sang the national anthem at a Marlins vs Phillies game in Loan Depot Park in September 2022 and thrice at a basketball game.

The first instance was in October 2022 at Kaseya Center ahead of the Miami Heat vs Minnesota Timberwolves game and twice at the Target Center in 2023, ahead of a Lynx WNBA clash in July followed by a Timberwolves game in the NBA in November.

Alex Rodriguez has a loving bond with both his daughters and was visibly emotional while dropping off her eldest kid for college in Michigan. While talking to PEOPLE in April 2024, A-Rod reflected on the similarities between himself and Natasha.

He said:

"She has a sense of friends and which bus to take, as well as her gym and which Starbucks [to go to]. So she is very much like me. She's very routine oriented. I feel like she's in a good place right now."

Alex Rodriguez shared a heartfelt video wishing Natasha on her 20th birthday

The former Yankees ace infielder took to social media to share a heartfelt video wishing his daughter on her 20th birthday. The caption on the post read as follows:

"Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter @thenatasharodriguez! Thank you for brightening everyday. ❤️"

Tashi was born on Nov. 18, 2004, to A-Rod and his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis. The couple's second daughter Ella Alexander, was born on April 21, 2008.
