Jackson Holliday's debut was one of the most anticipated events at the start of the 2024 season. Son of St. Louis Cardinals legend Matt Holliday, Jackson was MLB Pipeline's No. 1 prospect before he made his debut. He officially kicked off his career in the majors on April 10, 2024, for the Baltimore Orioles.

In line with Holliday's debut season hype was his rookie playing cards. Card manufacturer Topps recently released an upgraded version of this year's player cards called the "Topps Chrome Update" that featured the young gun as its cover. One such fan of card collecting was American Horror Story star Emma Roberts.

In a recent Instagram post by the league and Topps, a photo was shared of the Hollywood actress fangirling over getting Jackson Holliday's updated rookie card. It is customary in the card collecting community that on 1/1, or January first of every year, collectors show off their most coveted cards on the till.

Emma Roberts was in visible glee when she pulled Jackson Holliday's Chrome Update rookie card that she dubbed it her "most coveted 1/1." The former Nickelodeon teen star is a known card collecting enthusiast. One of her more famous incidents in card collecting was when her fiancee almost destroyed her Dylan Crews Gladiator card.

Roberts has been a staple cast member of the hit anthology series American Horror Story. She recently starred in its latest iteration titled Delicate alongside fashion star Kim Kardashian.

Jackson Holliday's brother Ethan projected to top 2025 MLB Draft

The talent runs deep in the Holliday family as Jackson Holliday's younger brother Ethan is projected to be the No. 1 pick in the 2025 MLB Draft.

Ethan is now bound to replicate what his older brother has done when the latter was picked first in the 2022 MLB Draft. The younger Holliday is currently attending Stillwater High School in Oklahoma, where his father, Matt and older brother, Jackson, also starred in its baseball squad during their younger years.

The 17-year-old was a part of the US national baseball team that captured the U-15 Baseball World Cup. Although he is projected to top this year's draft class, Holliday has also stated that he plans on representing the Oklahoma State Cowboys on the collegiate level.
