James Outman may not have had a stellar season with the LA Dodgers in 2024, but he had a significant personal milestone with his family this year. In August, his wife Dasha gave birth to their first child, a girl they named Avery.
Outman, who was supposed to be a key part in the Dodgers lineup, ended up having a disappointing start to the year, hitting only .147 with three home runs before being optioned back to the minors on May 17. Though he was recalled in July, he played in the minors for the majority of the time and wasn't part of the roster that won the World Series in October.
On Tuesday, James Outman shared a heartwarming post celebrating the two-year anniversary of his marriage with Dasha.
"Another trip around the sun with you, @dashaoutman !2 years has flown by. 😘" Outman wrote in caption.
Outman shared three photos with Dasha. The first one was a throwback from their marriage. The next two included their newborn daughter.

Dasha also celebrated their two-year anniversary with a post on Instagram. She shared different photos but followed a similar pattern, with the first being from their marriage and the last two with their daughter.
Dasha highlighted that their relationship has lasted 11 years and continues to thrive.
"Happy Anniversary my love! What a beautiful life we have created. 💕 2 years of marriage, 11 years of love. Every moment with you has been my greatest adventure. Here’s to many more," Dasha wrote in caption.
James Outman and Dasha reportedly started dating Dec. 2013. They went Instagram official the following May and got engaged on Jan. 29, 2022.
Dasha came to the US from Ukraine in 2008. She graduated in 2018 with a bachelor's degree from Menlo College while specializing in real estate. She obtained her California Real Estate Salesperson License the following year.
For the next two years she worked with Morgan Holmes as a licensed realty associate. She is the founder of Excellent TC, a service provider that helps facilitate transactions.
