The Dominican Republic is absolutely fanatical about its baseball. The Caribbean nation, with a population of just over 11 million, boasts some of the world's most talented players.The fifth edition of the WBC is set to take place from March 8-21 and will be jointly hosted by Japan, Taiwan and the United States. The D.R. will compete in Pool D alongside Puerto Rico and Venezuela.
