LA Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani has waited six years to compete in WBC after an ankle injury prevented him from playing in 2017. However, he is anxious to play in the 2023 WBC.

"It's my first WBC, so I'm a little nervous. I've felt fine in my batting so far, and I haven't pitched in Japan yet, but I did pitch in spring training and have thrown bullpens, and feel I'm in my best condition," said Ohtani.

Baseball is a team sport, and Ohtani can't win this game on his own. But with his talent and the support of his teammates, Japan has a great shot at making a deep run in the World Baseball Classic.

There is also nothing quite like seeing a once-in-a-generation talent like Shohei Ohtani perform on the field for sports fans. Prepare yourself to see history being made because this is a game you won't want to miss.
