Aaron Judge's wife Samantha Bracksieck has been with the MVP slugger for at least the last seven years. Their relationship dates back to 2014 when their first Instagram picture surfaced. The two attended college at Fresno State University, which is likely where they began dating, even if social media didn't confirm it.
The two actually met before college, though. They both attended Linden High School in California, where Judge was a three-sport athlete.
In college, however, Bracksieck was honored for a master's thesis in kinesiology. Her project was called: "Posterior Elbow Angle During the Movement Phase of Throwing in Relation to the Susceptibility of UCL Injury in Major League Baseball Players."
She generally remains out of the spotlight and Judge likes to keep his relationship out of focus, too. He has kept everything related to baseball and the New York Yankees, his team since 2016 and the one he will likely retire with.
Aaron Judge and Samantha Bracksieck's relationship
The two tied the knot in late December 2021 in Hawaii and have been married ever since.
Bracksieck has been by Aaron Judge's side through everything - including Judge's historic chase for the American League home run record last season.
Judge said after hitting his 61st home run of the season in Toronto via PEOPLE:
"My wife has been with me through it all and she's calm as a cucumber, that's for sure."
Naturally, she was there for his 62nd home run, the one that broke the record. She was with him when he was named captain, too, as he specifically thanked her in his press conference:
"Thank you to everybody, my wife, Samantha. [My wife and I] came to the decision that was in our hearts, which is we belong in New York, we belong in this city."
He referenced the decision (one that was likely made as a familial unit) to re-sign with the New York Yankees instead of going back home for potentially more money on the West Coast.
Judge also said the two of them were giddy after signing the contract:
"After every meeting, I'd sit down with my wife, and we kinda look at each other and are like, 'we're Yankees.'"
The two have an excellent relationship and Bracksieck is routinely in the stands cheering her husband on.
