The year 2024 couldn't have been any better for Blake Snell and family. While the year didn't start well, with the lefty signing a short-term deal with the San Francisco Giants despite coming off a Cy Young campaign, he got his long-term contract from the LA Dodgers by the year end.
Before that, Snell's girlfriend, Haeley, gave birth to their first son, Kaedyn, in June. Snell opted out of his two-year contract with the Giants to become a free agent once again. The Dodgers surprisingly signed the star ace on a five-year, $182 million contract.
With the festive season ongoing, Snell's son Kaedyn received a special delivery from his aunt and former MLB pitcher Dallas Keuchel's wife Kelly Nash. On Friday, Haeley shared a photo of a small-sized pair of Nike Dunk sneakers, often referred to as "Dodger Dunks."
"auntie @kellynash spoiling K with some dodger dunks 🥺💙" Haeley wrote in caption.
Blake Snell and Haeley celebrating their first offseason with son, Kaedyn
With Blake Snell signing a contract this early in the offseason, it will allow the southpaw and his family to enjoy the remainder of the offseason without worrying much unlike last year. It also marks their first with the newborn Kaedyn.
Last month, Haeley shared a series of photos of the family enjoying offseason moments. In one photo, Haeley can be seen being clicked with her son in the backdrop of a breathtaking sunset view.
In another, Kaedyn can be seen enjoying his daddy Snell streaming. Other moments included making a trip to the basketball court with his father.
"our first off-season together 🤍" she wrote in caption.
Blake Snell is coming off another great year after initially starting the season on a bad note.
His best moment of the season came on Aug. 2 against the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. Snell threw a no-hitter, striking out 11 hitters in the process, finishing the season 5-3 and a 3.12 ERA across 20 starts.
