Bobby Miller's girlfriend, Natalie Loureda, is a lifelong martial artist, specializing in Taekwondo. Natalie's older sister, Lola Vice (Valerie Loureda), is a WWE NXT superstar who formerly competed in MMA for the now-defunct Bellator.
Natalie's ambition is to follow in her footsteps to professional wrestling. Unlike Valerie, Natalie doesn't have experience in professional MMA, though she has had a handful of amateur bouts.
Nonetheless, Natalie follows UFC closely, providing analysis, predictions and recaps of the events, mostly PPVs, on her podcast, "Rolling With The Punches." She had predicted challenger Umar Nurmagomedov to dethrone champion Merab Dvalishvili in the co-main event of UFC 311 on Sunday.
Dvalishvili's cardio wilted Nurmagomedov, resulting in a unanimous decision loss for the latter. Following the victory, Natalie shared an Instagram story of Bruce Buffer announcing Dvalishvili as the victor, with an ominous caption.
"Smh (Shaking my head) Sean [O'Malley] is gonna get you" - Natalie wrote.
Dvalishvili became the UFC bantamweight champion defeating Sean O'Malley in the main event of UFC 306: Riyadh Season Noche UFC on Sept. 14. The Georgian fighter's wrestling proved to be the difference in the fight.
After the fight, O'Malley underwent hip surgery, hinting he fought injured. UFC CEO Dana White even stated O'Malley looked odd during his post-fight press conference of UFC 306, suggesting a potential rematch.
Bobby Miller's girlfriend had claimed Umar Nurmagomedov was a better wrestler than Merab Dvalishvili
On Friday's episode of the "Rolling With The Punches" podcast, Bobby Miller's girlfriend, Natalie, proclaimed Umar Nurmagomedov a better wrestler than Merab Dvalishvili, the champion.
Unfortunately, that proved to be too wrong. Dvalishvili took Nurmagomedov six times in the fight and overtook UFC Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre's record en route to the unanimous decision victory.
Let's look at what Natalie said.
"Now, Umar [Nurmagomedov] has a lot to lose with the undefeated record, but Merab [Dvalishvili] is currently the champion. I always thought Merab was the champ of wrestling, but Umar is the king of wrestling," Natalie added. [Timestamp from 17:42]
The loss to Dvalishvili was Nurmagomedov's first in professional MMA. After the fight, Nurmagomedov revealed he broke his right hand in the first round. On the other hand, Dvalishvili also revealed injuries that plagued his training camp.
Even though the co-main event prediction went wrong, Natalie's prediction for Jiri Prochazka vs. Jamahal Hill was right. Prochazka won the fight via third-round knockout, eliciting ecstatic reactions from Bobby Miller and Natalie who were at the Intuit Dome to watch UFC 311 live.
