Bobby Witt Jr.'s wife Maggie channels cowgirl chic in mirror selfie with Royals star's mother and sister

Kansas City Royals superstar Bobby Witt Jr. married longtime partner Maggie Black on Dec. 14. The couple had been engaged since December 2023. Maggie is a former softball athlete, having played shortstop and third base positions for Northwestern State University of Louisiana.

On Friday, Maggie posted a picture on Instagram, originally shared by her husband's older sister Kianna. Maggie, Kianna and Witt's mother, Laurie, wore cowboy hats in the mirror selfie.

"cowgirl selfie," Kianna captioned the post.

All three women wore jeans, with Maggie and Kianna pairing them with tees while Laurie opted for a shirt. Kianna further added a poncho as Maggie donned a furry jacket.

Bobby Witt's wife had shared a solo selfie in the same attire, captioning it with three emojis: love, horse and a smiley.

In addition to Kianna, the Royals shortstop has two older sisters: Shaley and Nikki. All three sisters are married to former MLB players.

The oldest, Nikki, is married to James Russell, a former pitcher of the Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies. His father, Jeff Russell, is a two-time All-Star relief pitcher, enshrined in the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame.

Witt's middle sister Kianna is married to Zach Neal, also a former pitcher. Neal played for the Oakland Athletics, LA Dodgers and the NPB team, SS Lions. The couple met at the University of Oklahoma, where Kianna was a cheerleader.

The youngest sister, Shaley, is married to Cody Thomas, former Athletics outfielder and current free agent. Like Kianna, Shaley also met her husband at the University of Oklahoma, where he was a multisport athlete.

Bobby Witt's wedding with wife Maggie was an entertaining affair from the Thompson Dallas Weddings & Events. The event, attended by almost all of Witt's Royals teammates and their spouses, was planned by Alice and Apricot, a Texas-based luxury wedding planning service.

A month after the wedding, Maggie offered fans a sneak peek at their honeymoon from the Caribbean. On Jan. 16, Maggie shared a 15-snap Instagram post, showing the couple enjoying the sun, cuisine and adventure on the island.

Maggie also mixed a couple of selfies into the post. As expected, moments of PDA were also in it. Witt's wife also shared a video post with the same content.
