Braves vs Angels Prediction
In the seven games between the two teams since 2022, Atlanta has emerged victorious on four occasions. For Braves manager Brian Snitker, pitching is a concern. Over the past 30 days, Atlanta pitchers have a combined 4.94 ERA, ranking 25th in MLB over that span of time.
However, Atlanta's Chris Sale may be poised to save the day. The 35-year-old veteran is having one of the best years of his career, and is fresh off of a clinic in his last start against the San Francisco Giants. Sale tossed seven shutout innings, allowing zero runs and struck out 12.

On the other hand, the Los Angeles Angels have profoundly struggled of late. Over the past two weeks, manager Ron Washington's club has 47 runs scored and a .234 batting average - ranking them 24th in the league in both categories.
Given Sale's recent success and Anaheim's struggles, the Braves look likely to even the series.
Prediction: Atlanta W, 5-3
