Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Brusdar Graterol showed his heartfelt appreciation for the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) in a touching moment shared during the NFC Wild Card Playoffs.
Attending the game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Los Angeles Rams, which was relocated to Arizona due to the ongoing LA wildfires, Graterol’s baby daughter, Aria, stole the spotlight. In a social media story posted by Graterol on Wednesday, Aria can be seen sporting the cap while seated in a luxury box at State Farm Stadium.
The post, captioned with “LAFD” and accompanied by a praying hands emoji, expressed gratitude to the first responders who have been tirelessly battling the devastating fires that displaced thousands in LA.
Brusdar Graterol tied the knot with Allison Landa in Jan. 2021. Their daughter, Aria, was born in April 2023.
According to the latest report from NBC4 Los Angeles, several red flag warnings have been removed, indicating positive improvements in the attempts to stop the wildfires. However, the two most active fires, in Palisades and Eaton, have forced 88,000 people to remain under evacuation orders as of Wednesday.
Brusdar Graterol shares his support for LA Rams in the ongoing NFL playoffs
During his visit to State Farm Stadium for the LA Rams' wild-card round game, Brusdar Graterol shared a message of support for the team.
"Hey Rams!. I want to send you a big salute and good luck tonight. We are praying for LA to get out of all of this. Thousands of blessings and we are going to do more," Graterol said in the video.
The playoff game Brusdar Graterol attended saw the Los Angeles Rams dominate the Minnesota Vikings in a 27-9 victory, advancing to the next round where they'll face the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL Divisional Round.
On the baseball front, Graterol started the season on the injured list due to a sore shoulder. He wasn't activated on the roster until Aug. However, due to shoulder inflammation, he missed the NLDS and NLCS rounds but was added to the World Series roster.
He pitched 2.1 innings, allowing one run on two hits and four walks against the New York Yankees. His availability for the 2025 season is uncertain as he underwent labrum surgery after the World Series.
