Bryce Harper put in yet another impressive playoff performance to help the Philadelphia Phillies tie the NLDS against the New York Mets as his wife Kayla joined the celebrations in style.

After falling to a 6-2 defeat on Sunday, the Phillies tied the series in dramatic fashion with a walk off 7-6 victory on Monday. After Harper had helped Philadelphia stage a thrilling comeback, Kayla celebrated with Phillies wives in coordinated outifts and shared a picture on Instagram with the caption:

Bryce Harper was selected by the Washington Nationals in the 2010 MLB Draft and went on to make his major league debut with them in 2012.

In nine years with Washington, he established himself as one of the best players in the country and went on to join the Philadelphia Phillies in 2019. Since then, he has been a central figure in the Philadelphia lineup, putting in huge performances both in the regular season and playoffs.

In Game 2 of the NLDS against the Mets, the Phillies got off to a slow start before Bryce Harper put them on the board with a two-run home run in the sixth inning. The two teams continued to trade blows until a Nick Castellanos RBI hit in the bottom of the ninth secured the victory for Philadelphia.

With the series now tied at one game apiece, the two teams will travel to New York for Game 3 on Tuesday.

Bryce Harper ties franchise record while his wife Kayla brings Phillies wives together

During the Philaldelphia Phillies' clutch 7-6 victory over the New York Mets in Game 2 of the NLDS, both Harpers did their bit for the team. Bryce Harper's two-run homer in the sixth inning was 12th postseason home run, tying the franchise record held by Kyle Schwarber.

With the series tied at 1-1, Harper will likely get more chances to break the record this year, especially with his wife Kayla doing everything to support him.

There's no doubt that Kayla Harper has helped not only her husband but his teammates as. Starting with hosting a viewing party for the wives of the team earlier this month to organising photos with matching outfits for the players' families in the games. With both teams trading blows, the series is heating up to a thrilling crescendo.
