Bryce Harper's wife, Kayla, celebrates Christmas with family, posts adorable photos

On Wednesday, eight-time All-Star Bryce Harper's wife, Kayla, took to Instagram to post a series of adorable snaps, featuring her husband and kids Krew, Brooklyn and Kamryn, as the family of five celebrated a wholesome Christmas in each other's loving company.

"Merry Christmas! ❤️🎄✨" Kayla Harper captioned her Instagram post.

On the field, two-time NL MVP Bryce Harper had yet another solid campaign, finishing the regular season with a .285 batting average and an .898 OPS, also accumulating 30 home runs and 87 RBIs in the process, inspiring the Philadelphia Phillies to their first NL East title since 2011.

Having succeeded in ending the Atlanta Braves' recent dominance in their division, Harper and the Phillies also earned a first-round bye. Heading into the postseason full of confidence and with a week to rest up, there was hope amongst Phillies fans that this could finally be the year that their superstar's World Series woes would come to an end.

As it turned out, though, it was more of the same sinking feeling for Phillies fans and Bryce Harper alike, as an explosive New York Mets outfit sent them crashing out of the playoffs, and baseball's biggest prize managed to elude them for yet another season.
