On Monday, Philadelphia Phillies superstar Bryce Harper's wife, Kayla, took to Instagram to share a snap to her story, as she shared her preferred choice of beverage for chilly winter evenings.
"Matcha break," Kayla Harper captioned her Instagram story.
Both Bryce and Kayla grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and reportedly first crossed paths with each other when they were school students. Eventually, they began dating as high schoolers.
After dating for a few years, the pair went on to tie the knot in San Diego, California in 2016. The couple currently have three kids together, two daughters named Brooklyn and Kamryn, and a son named Krew.
Bryce Harper's wife Kayla posts 12 snaps to reflect on each month of the year gone by
On Jan. 1, Kayla Harper took to Instagram to post a series of snaps, as she reflected on memorable moments of the year just gone by. The post heavily featured her three kids, Brooklyn, Krew and youngest daughter Kamryn, who was born in April.
"Goodbye 2024," Kayla Harper captioned her Instagram post.
On the field, Bryce Harper had yet another solid big-league season. The 32-year-old finished the regular season with a .285 batting average and .898 OPS, along with 30 home runs and 87 RBIs, helping his team to their first NL East division title since 2011. By winning the division title in 2024, Harper and the Phillies ended the Atlanta Braves' recent dominance.
Finishing the season with a 95-67 record and clinching a first-round bye, the Phillies headed into the postseason high on morale and with a week of rest after the grueling regular season came to an end. For Bryce Harper, who is yet to win a World Series title, there was plenty of hope that 2024 may finally be the year that feat is finally accomplished.
Unfortunately for Harper and the Phillies, it was yet another season of postseason heartbreak as the New York Mets proved too hot to handle in the NLDS.
