Carlos Correa is the starting shortstop of the Minnesota Twins and is one of the biggest stars of the American League. Correa and the Twins had a tough end to the 2024 regular season, and they will be looking for a solid bounce back in 2025. Correa did his part at the plate for the Twins in 2024 as he hit .310, but his 14 home runs were a disappointing lack of power.
Correa will soon be heading to Spring Training to prepare for the upcoming season, but the Puerto Rican player is enjoying time away from the sport. His wife, Daniella, provided an update on her Instagram story about how the couple was spending the New Year's Eve holiday.
The photo posted by Daniella shows the married couple sipping wine, with Carlos looking over his wife's shoulder.
Carlos Correa and wife Daniella shared Christmas cheers
Carlos Correa and his wife Daniella have been working toward bringing some extra Christmas joy to those who need it the most. The couple's Correa Family Foundation helped deliver toys and gifts to families of children who are battling cancer. Daniella shared a photo of the couple handing out the gifts just a few days before Christmas.
Carlos knows that he can help make a difference in the world, and he appreciates doing these things more since he came from a poor family. Of the recent gift-giving celebration, he said:
"It means a lot to me, you know, growing up in Puerto Rico, I know what, you know, it could be like to not have anything, to be able to share a little bit of the things that we have here in this beautiful warehouse with the help of everybody supporting the foundation. It's truly unbelievable. Kids are leaving the door really happy with a big smile on their faces."
It will soon be time for the MLB season to get going, but until then, Carlos Correa is doing good deeds and enjoying time with his wife.
