Minnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa enjoyed a snowy day in Houston with his wife Daniella and their two sons.

The snowy day, far from being a dreary occasion, became a fun-filled outing for the family as they donned their winter coats and headed outside.

In particular, Correa pushed one of his sons on a sled.

Here’s a peek at the adventure.

In the caption, Daniella wrote:

“First time snow sledding and I never thought it’d happen in Houston.”

The photos were met with many likes and positive comments from fans and followers. Particularly, Lance McCullers’ wife Kara reacted to the post.

Kara McCullers wrote in the comments:

“Best memories!!! So happy you are all here for it.”

Carlos Correa and Lance McCullers are former teammates who played for the Houston Astros. While McCullers is still a member of the Astros organization, Correa now plays for the Twins.

Nevertheless, friendships and fond memories often transcend team colors. As such, there is no hiding the genuine love and appreciation the McCullers and Correas have for one another.

How long the weather will remain snowy in Houston remains to be seen. So, the Correa family will surely enjoy it while it lasts.

Carlos Correa is a dedicated family man

Carlos Correa has been a dedicated family man since he proposed to his then-girlfriend Daniella Rodriguez after the Astros' World Series victory. Rodriguez, the 2016 Miss Texas USA, eagerly accepted.

The two wed in 2019 in a courthouse ceremony. Since then, the couple and their two sons have made their home in Houston. In 2024, however, the family permanently moved to the St. Paul, Minnesota area where the Twins play their home games.

Correa and Rodriguez have maintained close ties to Houston, specifically with former teammates and close friends. The Correas visit as often as possible, despite moving their permanent residence thousands of miles away.

In March 2022, Correa ended months of speculation by signing with the Minnesota Twins. Correa had become a free agent after the 2021 season, casting significant doubt about his return to the Astros.

After opting out of his initial contract with the Twins after the 2022 season, Correa re-signed with Minnesota for another six years. So, it seems that the Correa family will be calling Minnesota home for the foreseeable future.

Time will tell if the Correas stay put in Minnesota once the contract expires, or if the shortstop moves on to another club.
