Carlos Rodon's wife Ashley looks back at first swim lessons with daughter Willow from years ago 

New York Yankees pitcher Carlos Rodon, coming off a solid bounce-back season, is taking some free time this offseason to spend with his wife and children. Rodon has been married to his wife Ashley since they exchanged vows in 2018.

Ashley Rodon, who has almost 12K followers on Instagram, often shares family moments with her audience. On Wednesday, she reshared a memory from five years ago with the caption:

“The little things are the big things.”

The photo shared was from their daughter Willow’s first swimming lesson. It shows Ashley holding Willow in her arms, both wearing matching striped swimsuits. The mother-daughter duo is seen smiling while enjoying time in a pool.

The couple are proud parents of three children. Their eldest, Willow, was born in 2019. They welcomed their second child Bo in 2021, and their youngest Silo joined the family in 2023.

Carlos and Ashley Rodon initially faced struggles with pregnancy before welcoming their first child. The couple had even considered IVF treatment before eventually receiving the news of their natural pregnancy with their daughter Willow.

Having experienced the challenges of starting a family, the couple decided to support others facing similar struggles. This led to the creation of The Willow Grant, an initiative aimed at assisting with IVF treatments for couples dealing with infertility.

Named after their first daughter, Willow, the initiative operates in collaboration with the Next Egg Foundation. Earlier this month, Ashley shared a heartfelt message she received from a couple who informed her of their successful pregnancy.

In response to the news, Ashley wrote:

"You have no clue how much joy I get from the people who ask us to pray for them, that come back to me with messages like this. Everyone deserves these moments."

The couple had revealed to Ashley in a message via Instagram that they were expecting a baby girl due in just over a month.
