New York Yankees starting pitcher Carlos Rodon's wife, Ashley, posted a series of Instagram stories on Sunday as she shed light on the impact of beauty pageants in everyday life. Rodon, who has been passionate about competing in pageants, also looked back on her days as a participant.
"Pageants give you so much more than a crown. I'm thankful for everything they did that affects my everyday life 🤍" Ashley Rodon captioned one of her stories.

Before Ashley Rodon became a mom of three, she was a regular participant in pageants. However, her passions perhaps understandably took a back seat after 2019, as she and her husband welcomed their three children – Bo, Willow and Silo – in the space of five years.
However, Rodon was once again able to enjoy her passion in 2024 as she took part in the Miss Connecticut USA pageant. Although she didn't make it to the latter stages of the competition, it appears she was pleased to have the opportunity to enjoy competing again.
As 2025 begins, Carlos Rodon's wife, Ashley, looks back at memorable moments of 2024
On Jan. 1 on Instagram, two-time All-Star Carlos Rodon's wife, Ashley, posted a video looking back at memorable moments from the year gone by. She also penned a heartfelt note, expressing her gratitude for having been blessed with plenty of happiness by her friends and family's side.
"2024 was a year of moments to remember. The quick moments in time of watching Carlos be an amazing dad, competing at Miss CT USA, our launch event for the foundation with the team, the Willow Gala, our first family starting their IVF treatment, and getting to see Carlos step onto the mound in a World Series game. It wasn’t without its challenges too, loosing uncle Randy has been a harder thing to come to terms with than I even initially even thought it would be. There was so much packed into this year I felt pretty overwhelmed at moments, but looking back how amazing a lot of those moments were just dreams that all came true in 365 days! Excited for everything 2025 has in store 🙏🏻 Greatful to God always and thankful to everyone who was apart of what made this year so special!" Rodon captioned her post.
The year was also memorable for Carlos Rodon on the field as he and the New York Yankees enjoyed a successful season, making it to the World Series for the first time since 2009. However, the year ultimately ended on a bitter note as New York was beaten by its NL counterparts, the Los Angeles Dodgers, in the Fall Classic.
