Carlos Rodon's wife Ashley pens emotional message after joyful pregnancy update from family she prayed for

Not everyone's journey to parenthood is as easy. Some like Carlos Rodon and his wife, Ashley, endured struggles before becoming parents. The Yankees pitcher and Ashley struggled to conceive. They almost made the appointment for IVF treatment before they learned that Ashley was pregnant when they expected the least.

Though they conceived naturally, they understand the struggle. That's why they started Willow Grant (a collaboration between Carlos and Ashley Rodon's Next Egg Foundation), named after their firstborn daughter, to help families cover expensive IVF treatment.

On Friday, Ashley Rodon posted a heartwarming message on Instagram from someone who had previously requested prayers regarding their pregnancy. The message informs Ashley that they recently had a baby shower and are expecting a baby girl in over a month. Along with this message, Ashley added a caption:

"You have no clue how much joy I get from the people who ask us to pray for them, that come back to me with messages like this. Everyone deserves these moments."

Carlos Rodon's wife Ashley recalls 2024 year with gratitude

On the eve of New Year, Ashley Rodon took to Instagram to reflect on an eventful and emotional 2024, sharing a heartfelt message filled with gratitude, memories and personal growth.

In her post, she wrote about witnessing Carlos excel not only on the baseball field but also in his role as a father. She mentioned competing in Miss Connecticut USA.

In September, Carlos Rodon and his family organized the first Willow Gala to share awareness and raise funds. The highlight was seeing Carlos step onto the mound for the New York Yankees during a World Series game against the LA Dodgers.

"There was so much packed into this year I felt pretty overwhelmed at moments, but looking back how amazing a lot of those moments were just dreams that all came true in 365 days! Excited for everything 2025 has in store. Greatful to God always and thankful to everyone who was apart of what made this year so special!" Ashley wrote in her IG caption while sharing a video of the family on the platform.
