New York Yankees starting pitcher Carlos Rodon started ALCS Game 5 against the Cleveland Guardians at Yankee Stadium on Sunday. He pitched 4.2 innings, allowing five hits, two earned runs and six strikeouts.
The home team went on to win the game in extra innings, courtesy of a three-run homer from Juan Soto in the 10th inning, to reserve a spot in the World Series in hopes of winning it all. They await the winner of the ongoing NLCS between the New York Mets and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Cheering Rodon from the stands were his family, including wife Ashley, who was with her son Bo to enjoy the game and see Rodon take the Yankees to the World Series. Ashley posted a snap where Bo was seen barely holding on to the ALCS trophy, with a sweet caption:
"Bringing the kids is hard just because it's late late nights. But I am so thankful I have this photo for him even if he can't remember late in life," she wrote in her story.
Carlos and Ashley Rodon are parents to three children. Willow, their eldest daughter, was born in 2019; Bo, their first son, was born in 2021; and most recently, in April, they welcomed their second son, Silo.
