Ahead of the LA Dodgers game against the Chicago White Sox, the Freeman family's eldest son reached a big milestone. On Tuesday, at the Guaranteed Rate Field, Freddie Freeman's son Charlie was in the left field catching flyballs in an ongoing batting practice.

Chelsea Freeman, who was up in the stands, captured her son Charlie's first flyball catch as even the Dodgers coaching staff clapped for the young lad. She shared the moment on social media with her followers.

"Charlie was so excited he caught his first fly ball in batting practice. He's been trying to catch a ball all season," she wrote in her story.

Charlie's love for baseball is not unknown. Since Freddie Freeman's Atlanta days, he has been a constant feature with his dad on the field, helping out team players in any way possible. He also takes part in certain drills and he has carried this transition to the Dodger Stadium as well.

The Freeman couple have been seeing each other since 2011, with the couple tying the knot in November 2014. Apart from Charlie, who was born in 2016, the couple also share two more kids: Brandon John and Maximus Turner, born in 2020 and 2021.

Charlie Freeman throws his first ceremonial pitch at Dodger Stadium

Earlier in April, Charlie Freeman threw his first ceremonial pitch at Dodger Stadium and to be honest, it was a lot better than many celebrity darting throws in the mud.

Decked out in Dodgers blue gear, Charlie threw a perfect strike, leaving the crowd and his dad in awe. Immediately following the pitch, he ran up to his dad for a warm hug.

Moreover, Charlie has already embraced his fellow teammates at Dodgers Ballpark, who could potentially be his future teammates as well. He is friends with Clayton Kershaw's son, Charley and Joe Kelly's son, Knox. The trio of these kids is often spotted playing near the field after the game. Maybe one day they will all be drafted to be in the majors.
