Cole Tucker's wife Vanessa Hudgens has starred in numerous films since making her on-screen debut in 2003. The 36-year-old rose to fame when she starred opposite Zac Efron as the lead female protagonist in the hit Disney movie series High School Musical. Since then, she has starred in films such as The Princess Switch, Bad Boys, and Tick, Tick, Boom.
In an Instagram story on Sunday, Hudgens looked back at the time when she starred in the critically acclaimed musical film Tick, Tick, Boom. The former Disney star topped the bill alongside Academy Award-winner Andrew Garfield in a film directed by multiple-time Grammy, Tony, and Emmy-award winning actor Lin-Manuel Miranda in his feature film directorial debut.
The post was originally shared by the film's director Lin-Manuel Miranda.
The musical flick revolves around the story of the eponymous stage musical that was written by the late lyricist and composer Jonathan Larson. Tick, Tick, Boom was a semi-autobiography of Larson's life and takes into account the issues homophobia and the discrimination that persisted during the 1980s during the height of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
For his stellar portrayal of Larson, Andrew Garfield received a Golden Globe and Oscar nomination.
