Cole Tucker's witty reaction dominates comment section on wife Vanessa Hudgens' glamorous New Year photoshoot in shimmery black dress

Cole Tucker is an MLB player who was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2014 MLB draft. He married actress Vanessa Hudgens on Dec. 2, 2023, and the two have been extremely supportive of each other's careers.

Tucker was once a big prospect for the Pirates and made his MLB debut one year before his romance with Hudgens began in 2020. In July, they welcomed a child, but have kept the baby out of the public eye.

The latest update about the two came on Friday on Instagram when Hudgens shared several photos of them at a New Year's party. In the pictures, Hudgens wore an elegant shimmery black dress with matching accessories, while Cole Tucker sported a stylish suit.

Cole Tucker credits Vanessa and family for his positive mindset

Early in his MLB career, Cole Tucker was considered a highly-regarded prospect, but he has never fully lived up to expectations. Unable to land a consistent starting role in the Major Leagues, he spent much of the past four years in the Minors.

In July, Tucker shared his mindset for the 2024 season (during his stint with the LA Angels) on "The Locker Room."

"There's so much that will show up in the season and in spring training, especially you just got to make sure to have your most positive mental frame to show up every day and it comes from a lot of different places," Tucker said. "My wife, my parents, my brothers, my friends, you know, you lean on a lot of people.

"Especially during the season because everybody looks at us like we're just athletes but there's a human being with a heartbeat in there. You got to take care of that human being first. You know we got to show up and be our best version of ourselves and you hope that trickles into the game." (2:39)

Cole Tucker is currently a free agent, meanwhile, Vanessa, who is a known wrestling fan, was ringside on SmackDown on Friday.
