With the 2024 MLB regular season done and dusted, the most exciting part of the year, playoff baseball, is in full swing. Tyler Glasnow, Joe Musgrove miss out on MLB playoff rosters due to injury
One of the most historic rivalries in MLB, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres, will once again take center stage as they face off in the NLDS, starting Saturday. The Padres secured their place by defeating the Atlanta Braves in back-to-back games to win the Wild Card series, setting up a showdown with the NL West champions.
However, both sides will be missing important pitchers. Tyler Glasnow and Joe Musgrove have not made the cut for the MLB NLDS roster, as both remain out of action due to elbow injuries. Glasnow suffered his injury in August and has been out of action since, while Musgrove was injured on Wednesday against the Atlanta Braves.
Both have been reliable options for their respective coaches in the second half of the season, and their absence throws another spanner in the works for what is already a hugely exciting MLB playoff battle.
