LA Dodgers catcher Austin Barnes took his wife, Nicole, on a retreat to mark seven years together as a married couple. The pair tied the knot in 2018 and share a son named Royce.
Barnes' longtime association with the Dodgers has helped the couple connect with several of their teammates' families. Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager, who once was a star shortstop for the Dodgers, played with Barnes, and their wives are also good friends.
On Sunday, Nicole shared a series of Instagram photos from the couple's vacation in Hawaii. The pictures included her taking snaps of scenic beauty while also trying out different outfits and dishes while there.
She captioned the post:
“Lots of sunsets, lots of fits, lots of drinks, lots of 🙌.”
The post didn’t go unnoticed by fellow MLB spouses.
Suzanna Villarreal Wood, wife of former Dodgers pitcher Alex Wood, commented:
"Beauty."
Madisyn Seager, wife of Rangers star Corey Seager, left a one-word comment:
"Hottttt 🔥🔥"
Anisa Garcia, partner of Dodgers pitcher Landon Knack, commented:
"Beautiful 😍"
Kayla Vesia, wife of Dodgers reliever Alex Vesia, reacted:
"Wow beautiful!!! Hope you guys had the best time ❤️"
Nicole Barnes wishes Seager couple on their anniversary
On Dec. 5, 2020, Corey Seager married Madisyn at Saddle Wood Farms in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Last month, the couple celebrated their fourth anniversary, with Madisyn sharing moments from the wedding celebrations on Instagram.
"just two kids who fell in love and had no idea what would be ahead of them ✨ happy 4 year anniversary my love, this life we’ve built together has been everything we’ve dreamt it could be and more 🤍," she wrote in the caption.
Nicole Barnes wished the couple with a comment on the post:
"Happy anniversary lovers."
The Seager couple has known each other since their high school days in Kannapolis, North Carolina. They faced a break in their relationship as they headed in different directions, but their fate was aligned as they both got together eventually.
During a New England Patriots game, with the blessing from Madisyn's parents, the shortstop went down on one knee to propose to the love of his life.
Fast forward to now, Mr. and Mrs. Seager expanded their family by adopting two dogs: Hazel, an Australian Shepherd, in 2019, and Harlow, another Australian Shepherd, in November 2022.
