Corey Seager and his wife Madisyn celebrated New Year's Eve together, bidding farewell to 2024. After a World Series triumph in 2023, Seager was unable to lead the Rangers to the postseason in the following year.
Seager’s season started and ended with surgeries. He had sports hernia surgery on the left side in January, followed by a similar procedure on the right side in September, which ended his season prematurely. Despite these setbacks, the star shortstop played 123 games, hitting .278/.353/.512 with 30 home runs and 74 RBIs in 2024.
The early end to the season allowed Seager to recuperate and enjoy some downtime with Madisyn on a tropical vacation. On New Year's Eve, the couple shared a cozy selfie, each wearing Happy New Year headgear. Madisyn donned a green outfit, while Seager wore a grey t-shirt.
"Ideal NYE," Madisyn wrote in caption.
In another story, she shared some inspiring words on New Year's eve, quoting Louise Kaufmann:
"may the wars you fought in 2024, be the wins you celebrate in 2025."
