Dansby Swanson's wife Mallory Swanson rocks off-white sweatshirt while going 'through the pain together' with Katie McGuirk

Dansby Swanson is an All-Star shortstop with the Chicago Cubs and also has a famous wife. Mallory Pugh Swanson is a forward with the Chicago Red Stars and a member of the U.S. Women's National Team. On Wednesday, she posted a photo of training with her friend Katie McGuirk to her Instagram story.

The photo was originally posted by McGuirk, an Atlanta real estate agent, as the duo shared a morning workout together. Mallory doesn't have much time to rest thanks to her career, and she shared that she was glad to have a good training partner. She wore an off-white sweatshirt as opposed to traditional workout attire.

"Through the pain together," Swanson wrote.

Swanson has shared plenty of training photos and videos with her husband as well, especially since the couple are able to play professionally in the same city.

It was just a week ago that Dansby Swanson shared a tribute to his wife as they celebrated their second wedding anniversary.

Dansby is often seen at home games for the Chicago Red Stars, and Mallory shows up at Wrigley Field as often as possible.

While Dansby is hoping to have a teammate for life in Mallory, he just got a new teammate for the 2025 season, one who could be an MVP candidate.

Right fielder Kyle Tucker was traded to the Chicago Cubs from the Houston Astros, and he was appreciative of being traded to Chicago.
