Ortiz and Yeribel announced their relationship shortly after Ortiz finalized his divorce from ex-wife Tiffany in 2023.

Ortiz welcomed a son, named Diego, with Yeribel in July. The Dominican also has three other children – daughters Alexandra and Jessica, and a son, D'Angelo – from his former marriage.

David Ortiz's girlfriend Maria Yeribel takes to Instagram to share homemade "fruit ice cream" recipe

On Wednesday on Instagram, 10-time All-Star David Ortiz's girlfriend, Maria Yeribel posted a video, wherein she shared the recipe for a homemade "fruit ice cream" which is also suitable for infants.

In the video, Yeribel appears to blend a mixture of sliced mangoes, bananas and peaches into a fine paste, before leaving it in the freezer to cool. Her son, Diego, seemed to enjoy the tasty treat, evident by his beaming smile.

"Fruit ice cream for my baby 🥝" Maria Yeribel captioned her Instagram post in Spanish.

Having enjoyed a hugely successful baseball career, it appears life is just as good, if not better, for David Ortiz post-retirement. Currently, the priority for the Ortiz family will be looking after Diego, who is around six months old. Looking at stories uploaded by Ortiz on Instagram, it appears the infant is the apple of his siblings' eyes as well.

While the three-time World Series champion has already called time on a career where he won pretty much everything there is to win, his son, D'Angelo, is only getting started. Following in his father's footsteps, the 20-year-old is currently on the Boston Red Sox's books, where his father was a stalwart. D'Angelo was drafted by Boston in the 19th round in 2024.
