Dodgers vs Yankees World Series 2024: Ticket prices, availability, where to buy & more (Credits: Getty)
The World Series is set, with the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees ready to battle it out for baseball's ultimate prize this week and next. Both teams have massive fanbases that usually travel well, so expect sellouts for every game. If you're looking to secure tickets, here's what you need to know.
The first two games of the World Series will take place at Dodger Stadium, followed by up to three games at Yankee Stadium. If the final two are necessary, they will return to Dodger Stadium.
Currently, the cheapest Game 1 tickets are available from VividSeats for $1,069, with prices going as high as $8,000. This World Series is shaping up to be one of the most expensive World Series of all time.

Where to buy tickets for the Dodgers vs. Yankees World Series?
TicketMaster is generally the primary source for sporting event tickets. They are roughly the same price as the other options right now, which are all over $1,000. You can check StubHub, VividSeats, TickPix, and SeatGeek for options, but be prepared for steep prices.

When tickets for major events go on sale, two things typically happen. One, fans rush to get their hands on them, leaving few available. Two, scalpers jump in to clean up the rest in hopes of reselling them for a profit. That can lead to surging prices on the secondary sites, which hasn't happened yet.
However, it is usually a good idea to get tickets either early or late. Fans should look to be among the first to buy tickets, otherwise they can get even more expensive. If not, they may have better luck when those scalpers drop the price for remaining tickets right before the game because they otherwise will have a ticket they aren't going to use.

The Dodgers and Yankees are the two biggest teams in baseball and this promises to be a matchup of juggernauts. It's no surprise that the games, which are held in richer cities in the USA this season, are going to cost so much to acquire tickets for.
