In December, Francisco Lindor and his wife, Katia Lindor, revealed they are expecting their third child. The couple showed off a series of Katia's baby bump on Instagram.
While adding to the family is exciting, it does not come without its stresses. There is a lot to prepare for when expecting a child. The woman's body changes and you just want the best for the child to be.
Katia understands this perfectly, having already gone through two pregnancies. She posted a motivational message on her Instagram on Tuesday which she believed all mothers needed to hear.
"Motherhood is a deeply tranformative experience. One that changes us physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our bodies go through big changes: scars, new curves, stretch marks; reflections of the ability to give life. Simultaneously, our mind adapts, facing from joy indescribably to exhaustion and doubts that redefines who we are,"
"These changes can challenge our mood and self-esteem, but they also teach us to be resilent and value our strength. Embracing every version of ourselves is essential: accepting our scars, honoring our evolution, and loving ourselves with compassion," said Katia.
Katia does not want young mothers to fall into the trap of the constant negative emotion of not feeling good enough. Whether that be from a negative self-image to the constant stress of worrying about a child's future.
"Loving each stage isn't always realistic (I haven't always done it), but if we do, it not only strengthens us, but also inspires our children to value their own authenticity. Motherhood is not perfection; it's a journey of transformation, filled with challenges, beauty, and learning" said Katia.
This offseason has been nothing but great for Francisco Lindor
This offseason has been fantastic for Francisco Lindor and his family. There has been little for Lindor to complain about as things have gone almost perfectly for the New York Mets slugger.
To start off, his club got much better with one signing over the winter. The Mets were able to come to terms with four-time All-Star Juan Soto on a 15-year, $765 million contract.
Now, Lindor is adding another child to his family tree. Seemingly nothing can go wrong for this slugger as we inch closer and closer to the start of the 2025 season. Lindor may be a player to watch out for when the season rolls along. Hitters seem to get a boost at the plate after having a kid.
