Oakland Coliseum will no longer host MLB games as fans, including Trevor Bauer's agent Rachel Luba, bid farewell to the franchise, which is charting its path to Las Vegas. The Athletics played their last home game of the regular season on Thursday against the Texas Rangers.

With that comes the end of the Athletics' stay in Oakland. They'll now host their MLB games next season in Sacramento before eventually moving to Las Vegas, probably by 2027-28.

Joining many fans in sharing the memories connected to the stadium, Luba posted glimpses from her time there. She shared photos of her enjoying a game at the stadium with her friends, and wrote in the caption:

"The end of an era 💚💛🏟️⚾️ Thanks for the mems, Oakland Coliseum 🫶🏻"

Rachel Luba gave props to Trevor Bauer for an inspiring season

Throughout the season, baseball fans debated the lack of opportunities for Trevor Bauer's MLB return while the pitcher more than just mulled over it. He put on a spectacle south of the border in the Mexican League, helping his team, the Diablos Rojos del Mexico, win the championship.

Bauer also went through a health scare, suffering from the rare neurological disorder Guillan-Barre syndrome. In context to this, Luba wrote on Insagram:

"Seeing @baueroutage both overcome a terrifying illness and partial paralysis, as well as manage to dominate this season at the most difficult ballpark in the world to pitch in was truly something remarkable. But seeing him fall in love with baseball again after it broke his heart in so many ways—that was truly something special."

Bauer initially signed a five-game contract with the Diablos Rojos, hoping to get back to the majors by showing off his skills in the Mexican League. However, with no renewed interest from any major league team, he extended his stay in LMB for the season. That turned out all right, it seems.

With the offseason not far away, Rachel Luba will have her hands full trying to land a major league contract for the former LA Dodgers pitcher. However, whether or not teams are ready to welcome him back is a big question.
