Trevor Bauer relived the feeling of becoming champion on Sunday. Bauer excelled in all his starts this season with the Diablos Rojos del Mexico in the LMB, which propelled the team towards clinching the Southern Zone championship in the Mexican baseball league.

The Rojos del Mexico took to their official social media handle to share a celebratory post hailing Trevor Bauer for his performances this season.

They captioned the post:

Fans took notice of the Instagram post and commented in favor of Bauer. Several noted his resurgent run in the LMB and asked MLB teams to give him another shot.

Trevor Bauer had signed with the Diablos del Rojos Mexico on March 18. The initial six-game contract was extended till the end of the season after he impressed the front office with his emphatic starts. He was even named the starting pitcher for the South Division in the 2024 LMB All-Star game.

Trevor Bauer made 14 starts for the Rojos del Mexico this season, finishing with a 10-0 record with a 2.48 ERA and a league-leading 120 strikeouts. He even set the Mexican league single-game strikeout record in June by registering 19 strikeouts in 8.2 innings pitched against the Guerreros de Oaxaca.

Seeing him lift the championship trophy this season, his agent Rachel Luba made a celebratory post:

"I said it once and I’ll say it again— Playoff Bauer is a different breed."

While both Trevor Bauer and Rachel Luba continue to make a case for the former Cy Young winner's MLB return, it is safe to say that he has impressed the masses globally with his resurgent starts in the LMB in 2024.
