The MLB community holds divided opinions on Donald Trump. While some members are staunch supporters of the 47th President of the U.S., others are outspoken critics. Tommy Pham apparently falls in the former category.

Currently a free agent, Pham achieved his best success with the St. Louis Cardinals, where he played from 2014 to 2018 and again in 2024. On Sunday, the 36-year-old outfielder dropped a one-word reaction to a decision Trump took.

The U.S. President threatened his Colombian counterpart with sanctions after the latter refused to accept deportation flights. Pham shared the news on his Instagram story with the caption:

FAFO is the acronym for "F*ck around and find out," and the memes with it have flooded the internet after Trump himself used it.

Gustavo Petro, the Colombian president, reportedly caved in after Trump's threat. He even arranged the presidential plane to facilitate the transfer of alleged illegal migrants. Pham later shared an Instagram story of this news.

Right-wing factions within the U.S. celebrated Trump's move as a demonstration of prioritizing "America First." However, it elicited mixed reactions internationally. Critics raised concerns about the optics of a powerful nation exerting dominance over a comparatively weaker one.

Francisco Lindor's wife Katia blames Latinos who voted for Donald Trump

Francisco Lindor's wife, Katia, is one of the staunch critics of Donald Trump. The Mets superstar's wife had blamed Trump's election victory as a factor motivating racist behavior. She also alleged Trump would promote "Project 2025."

With Trump's policies targeting illegal migrants, Lindor's wife has used her social media platform to support the migrants. Katia was extremely critical of the Puerto Ricans and Latinos who voted for Trump after an unfortunate incident in New Jersey.

ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) unlawfully detained a Puerto Rican, a veteran who served in the army, during a raid. Katia shared the news on her Instagram story with the caption:

Trump saw his support increase in the Latino community, a driving factor behind his victory over Democrat candidate Kamala Harris. This was the reason behind Katia's remark.

Donald Trump is a fan of the MLB and had earlier jokingly suggested he would become the commissioner of the sport to make it better. Trump found several reasons that hindered the sport's popularity.
