On Friday, starting pitcher Logan Allen's newlywed wife, Molly Chandler, took to Instagram to post a series of snaps, as the couple celebrated tying the knot. Per reports, the couple married each other in a private ceremony that took place in New York City.

"Eloping in New York City >" Molly Chandler captioned her Instagram post

The spouses of several big league stalwarts reacted to the post. Cleveland Guardians right-handed pitcher Shane Bieber's wife, Kara Maxine, and San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb's wife, Sharidan, were among them.

Philadelphia Phillies catcher Garrett Stubbs' wife Evyn also left comments congratulating the happy couple.

Logan Allen is currently a free agent after tough 2024 season

The 27-year-old starting pitcher has been playing at the highest level of baseball for five years now, having made his debut in June 2019. Over the years, Allen has played for some major teams, such as the San Diego Padres, the Cleveland Guardians, the Baltimore Orioles and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

For his big league career as a whole, Allen has a 5-11 record, along with a 5.79 ERA and 89 total strikeouts.

His latest stint in the big leagues, however, which was with the Arizona Diamondbacks, did not exactly go as he would have liked.

Allen spent much of the year alternating between the major league dugout and the Reno Aces, the D-backs' triple-A affiliate. Chances to take to the mound in the big leagues were naturally few and far between.

In the few chances he did get, Allen was not able to put his best foot forward, finishing the 2024 regular season with a 0-1 record, a 5.46 ERA and 21 total strikeouts. After the season came to an end, Allen opted to enter free agency, perhaps eyeing a fresh start along with a change of scenery.
