The New York Yankees have one of the most exciting prospects in baseball. His name is Anthony Volpe. MLB analyst Chris Dimino believes Volpe should be an everyday starter.
The transition from the minor leagues to the majors doesn't always go smoothly. But Volpe seemingly has all the tools to succeed. At this point in his development, it doesn't make a lot of sense to keep him buried in the minors.
Volpe has been a regular for the New York Yankees at Spring Training. He's excited fans with his offensive and defensive skills. Considering the holes the team has in the infield, he is a perfect fit for their lineup.

This highlight reel play from Anthony Volpe shows what he can bring to the team defensively.
"Volpe makes an impressive play on this liner that deflected off Sevy" - Talkin' Yanks
MLB analyst Chris Dimino recently sat down with Sportskeeda for an exclusive interview and weighed in on Anthony Volpe's role with the New York Yankees.
"If I got a guy who can help me win games, especially in a place like New York, he's going to be up to help me win games. ...You got six years. If you can't even figure out that he's not your guy in six years, you're not a very good organization anyway"
He continued:
"So if he can play and help, I'm bringing him up, especially in a place like New York. ...The Yankees haven't won a World Series in a long time. If this guy is going to help them get to that point, you bring him up now and play him"
The New York Yankees have one of the most exciting prospects, but still don't have a clear plan for him.
The New York Yankees need to be decisive in what they do with Anthony Volpe

The New York Yankees do not have the luxury of playing in a weak division. They can't be too patient with prospects. The Toronto Blue Jays, Tampa Bay Rays and even the Baltimore Orioles all have the potential to finish first in the AL East.
This video uploaded to YouTube shows why Anthony Volpe is a top prospect.
If the Yankees do plan for Anthony Volpe to be an everyday starter, they need to have him on their Opening Day roster.
The Yankees will face the San Francisco Giants in their season opener at Yankee Stadium on March 30th.
