As Shohei Ohtani's LA Dodgers and Aaron Judge's New York Yankees prepare to go at it for the ultimate prize, the 2024 World Series has all the makings of a battle for the ages. The superstars spearhead two talented lineups, as both Ohtani and Judge look to lift the Commissioner's Trophy for the first time in their careers.

There are intriguing individual battles all across the board, with several players on both teams capable of deciding the outcome of a game on their own. However, undoubtedly the biggest one that fans will be looking forward to is the clash of the would-be-MVPs, Ohtani vs. Judge.

With the opening game of the series drawing ever closer, popular collectible manufacturer FOCO has announced a special bobblehead for the 2024 World Series featuring both superstars. The imminent release was announced on Friday by MLB on X.

Being a limited-edition item and featuring two of baseball history's greatest players at the peak of their powers, the bobbleheads are expected to be sought after among collectors. The collectible is priced at $159.99, and fans who are interested in purchasing can head over to the link in the X post to place their orders.

How the Shohei Ohtani-Aaron Judge clash in the World Series has already made history before a pitch was thrown

With Game 1 set to be played on Friday, much has been made of the upcoming clash between megastars Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge for the biggest of prizes. However, the pair have already made major league history, just by qualifying for the Fall Classic with their respective teams.

For the first time in big league history, two players with 50+ home runs will battle it out at the grandest stage. Judge finished his regular season in the AL with 58 home runs, while Shohei Ohtani finished his NL campaign with 54.

After hitting an incredible 62 home runs in 2022, the 2024 season was the second-best season of Judge's career in terms of homers. On the other hand, Ohtani complemented his 54 home runs with 59 stolen bases to become the first-ever player to enter the 50-50 club in big league history. Now, both have a chance to cap off their spectacular individual seasons with the perfect finishing touch.
