One of the most interesting and frustrating fantasy baseball seasons continues to roll on. Although it's not even June, leagues have been ravaged by a number of storylines both exciting and frustrating. The latest headline came this weekend after Atlanta Braves superstar and consensus No. 1 pick Ronald Acuna Jr. suffered a season-ending ACL tear.

As the 10th week of fantasy baseball leagues comes, managers will need to look to replace an injured star such as Ronald Acuna or simply bolster their roster where they can.

There are many ways to accomplish this goal, but the waiver wire tends to be the place where managers can land a player on a hot streak or a potential breakout candidate.

Waiver wire targets heading into week 10 of fantasy baseball leagues

Jarred Kelenic

Kelenic will likely be the most popular waiver wire add this week, thanks to the unfortunate injury to Ronald Acuna.

Although the Atlanta Braves will be missing their best player for the remainder of the season, they still possess one of the strongest lineups in the MLB. That's why Jarred Kelenic should be added to nearly every league he's available in.

He will undoubtedly see an uptick in his playing time with Acuna sidelined. Kelenic has been disappointing this season, posting a .265 batting average with 14 runs, three home runs and nine RBIs.

However, his increased role should see him drastically improve for the remainder of the year. Kelenic is an ideal speculative addition in fantasy baseball, given his upside and role in the Braves' potent lineup.

Brandon Pfaadt

It has been a rough fantasy season when it comes to starting pitching. Although there have been some dazzling performances this year, injuries have defined the season.

Spencer Strider and Shane Bieber are two of the stars who have been hit with a season-ending injury, forcing managers to reinforce their rotations.

That's where Brandon Pfaadt becomes a high priority on the waiver wire. The Arizona Diamondbacks starter has been hot lately and could be a long-term answer for managers looking for pitching.

In his past two starts, Pfaadt has pitched 13.0 innings, allowing only three runs but racking up a whopping 16 strikeouts.
