Now that the holiday season has passed, we are inching closer and closer to the end of the MLB offseason. Soon, catchers and pitchers will report to spring training with their fellow position-players teammates following soon after.

With the 2025 season on the horizon, the league has come out with its Team Power Rankings. While it should not be a surprise, the Los Angeles Dodgers take the No. 1 spot.

In order, it goes the Milwaukee Brewers, Houston Astros, Arizona Diamondbacks, Baltimore Orioles, and San Diego Padres. The fifth spot goes to the Atlanta Braves, followed by the New York Mets, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, and then the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Fans do not necessarily agree with this list. They believe some of these teams are getting too much praise while others are missing from this list.

"MLB already found an excuse to post Ohtani in some capacity" one fan posted.

"Why are the Phillies 2" said another.

Some fans do not see the Phillies as the second-best team in all of baseball. Others are stuck on the league's constant posting of their superstar, Shohei Ohtani.

"Y'all hate the AL Central" said another.
"Orioles don't belong in the top 15" said another.
"San Diego is way too low" said another.

Fans noticed the absence of any AL Central teams like the Cleveland Guardians or the Detroit Tigers. It will be interesting to see how this list shapes up when the season comes to a close.

Do all signs point to the Dodgers dominating the MLB again in 2025?

After having a monster MLB offseason last year, the Dodgers are back to signing elite players in free agency. They were able to re-sign their slugging outfield, Teoscar Herandez, but that was not all.

They also signed two-time Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell to help boost their already-tough starting rotation. He will join Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Shohei Ohtani, and Tyler Glasnow. More recently, they signed KBO star Hyeseong Kim.

They still might not be done. They are one of the favorites to land Japanese flamethrower Roki Sasaki, which would be the icing on the cake. If they land Sasaki, they would be a tough team to beat in any series during the upcoming season.
