Francisco Lindor set a career milestone on Wednesday as the New York Mets beat the visiting Oakland Athletics 9-1. He went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run, marking his 100th homer for the Big Apple club.
Katia Reguero Lindor, wife of Francisco Lindor, shared the news on Instagram by posting photos and highlights of Lindor’s moon shot in her story.
“100 home runs with the Mets 🥳,” Katia wrote.
Lindor entered Thursday with 238 home runs in his 10-year MLB career, of which 138 came with the Cleveland Indians (now Cleveland Guardians) and 100 with the New York Mets. He has hit 38 home runs in 120 games this season with a slash line of .263/.336/.465 and an OPS of .801, contributing 69 RBIs and 79 runs.
Entering Thursday's series finale with Oakland, the Mets (62-58 record, eight games behind the NL East-leading Philadelphia Phillies (69-50).

The iconic American rock band Green Day performed a postgame concert as part of their The Sabiours Tour on Monday at City Field in New York. While promoting their newly released album "Saviours," Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool also celebrated the 30th anniversary of "Dookie" (1994) album and the 20th anniversary of "American Idiot" (2004).
Katia Lindor, Francisco Lindor’s wife, attended the show with her two children, Kalina and Amapola Chloe. She shared moments of the electrifying music concert live.
“Welcome to paradise @greenday ❤️🩹 This concert was a) epic & b) like going back in time (to my adolescence) - these guys look & sound exactly the same 🤯,” she wrote on Instagram.
The couple tied the knot in December 2021 at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami.
