On Tuesday, New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor's better half, Katia Reguero, took to Instagram to share a sweet photo. The soon-to-be mother of three posted a collage featuring one photo from her childhood alongside a more recent one showcasing her baby bump.
"Mini me vs me now" the story was captioned.
Per numerous sources, before meeting each other in person, Francisco Lindor and Katia Reguero first came across each other's profiles on Instagram and first contacted each other via text messages. They dated for a few years before deciding to tie the knot in 2021.
With Lindor currently being one of the Mets' most important players, the pair currently live in New York, along with their two daughters, Kalina and Amapola, with another child also on the way.
Francisco Lindor's wife Katia Reguero shares adorable video of daughter Kalina learning to play the violin
On Wednesday, four-time All-Star Francisco Lindor's wife, Katia Reguero, took to Instagram to share an adorable video to her story. The video featured her daughter, Kalina, playing the violin under the supervision of an instructor.
On the field, Francisco Lindor had an excellent 2024 campaign, finishing the regular season with a .273 batting average and .844 OPS, along with 33 home runs and 91 RBIs. His outstanding performances were deservedly rewarded, as the 31-year-old won his fourth career Silver Slugger award and was also voted as the second most valuable NL MVP player, behind only Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Mets also had a 2024 season to remember. Despite struggling in the opening few months of the season, Carlos Mendoza's team showed a lot of improvement post the All-Star break, which ultimately proved to be enough to seal qualification to the postseason.
In the postseason, the Mets beat the Milwaukee Brewers and the Philadelphia Phillies to make it to the NLCS for the first time since 2015. However, their run eventually came to an end after they came up short against eventual World Series champions the Dodgers with the pennant on the line.
