Francisco Lindor's wife, Katia, is a podcast host and speaker who never shies away from voicing her opinions on various matters—both good and bad—in society. She is a loving mother to her daughters, Kalina Zoe and Amapola Chloe, and is Lindor's biggest supporter for all his endeavors on and off the field.
In her latest Instagram story, Katia shared a collaged image of her childhood self and her daughter, Amapola Chloe. The striking resemblance between the two pictures was uncanny.
"Everyone tap in. let's see you as a kid," Katia said on the caption.
In an exclusive interview with the New York Post in 2022, Lindor revealed that he came across one of Katia's images on Instagram and immediately took a liking to her. After that, Lindor didn't take much time to message her, and the duo has since hit it off.
They welcomed their first daughter, Kalina Zoe, on November 4, 2020. A year after her birth, the couple decided to take the final step of their lives and exchanged vows in a beautiful wedding at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, Florida. The couple's second daughter, Amapola Chloe, was born almost two years later, on June 17, 2023.
Both Katia and Lindor have lovingly been raising their daughters, and the girls surely enjoy watching their dad play for the Mets in Citi Field.
Francisco Lindor takes pride in being a girl dad to two amazing daughters
In an interview uploaded by the MLB on Instagram earlier this week, Lindor talked about how blessed he feels to be a girl dad.
"You know, it don't matter what happens in the world. I am their guy. I am their person. I am the person that they wake up and smile and the person that they run up to and they feel protected. You know, I just love that," Lindor said.
"I just love that stage, that I am in with them and to have them pretty much at every game, it's amazing. I appreciate being able to be their dad."
Lindor has been with the Mets since he signed a mammoth 10-year contract worth $341 million ahead of the 2021 MLB season. He has been an integral part of the team's roster in the big leagues. Prior to playing in New York, he played for the Cleveland Guardians (formerly known as the Cleveland Indians) from 2015 to 2020.
