New York Mets star Francisco Lindor and wife Katia have celebrated three years of marriage. On Monday, Katia Reguero Lindor took to Instagram to post a snap of the two of them kissing to her Instagram story, accompanied by a heartfelt message, as she celebrated their third anniversary.
"3 years of marriage 🤍 3 years married, almost 3 children and 5 years of loving you later...life with you just keeps getting sweeter 😘 @lindor12bc" Katia Reguero Lindor captioned her Instagram story.
In 2022, Francisco Lindor told the New York Post that she first connected with Katia on social media.
“I messaged her on Instagram. Her picture popped up and I was like, ‘This girl is beautiful!’” Lindor said per the Post.
Eventually, they started dating in 2019 and went on to tie the knot two years later.
Francisco Lindor and wife Katia Reguero expecting their third child together
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor and his better half, Katia Reguero, currently have two daughters together, Kalina, born in 2020 and Amapola, born in 2023.
On December 13, the couple took to Instagram to announce that they are expecting their third child together.
"All eyes on you, little one. Party of 5 coming soon. 😁" Francisco Lindor captioned his Instagram post
This makes for more cause for celebration for the Lindors, after a tremendous 2024 MLB season. The Puerto Rican star was at the heart of the New York Mets' success as they made their first trip to the NLCS since 2015.
Lindor had a superb 2024 season, finishing the regular season with a .273 batting average, 33 home runs and 91 RBIs.
His stellar performances day in, day out were recognized by the BBWAA as well, as he finished second in the NL MVP voting behind Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
For now, the Puerto Rican star can afford to take his mind off the field and focus instead on spending plenty of quality time with his wife and daughters. The focus shifts back to baseball in the new year, with spring training set to begin in February.
Mets fans will be looking forward to the new season with plenty of anticipation, eager to see what the devastating one-two punch of Francisco Lindor and the newly acquired Juan Soto can do together at the top of the lineup.
